About Wave
Wave Movement is a Pilates studio in Washburn, Wisconsin, created to support thoughtful, consistent movement in a small, connected community.
It grew from a desire for something steady—something that could support strength, create space, and feel sustainable over time, both personally and within the community.
Movement at Wave is shaped around real life. Some days that means building strength and energy. Other days it means slowing down, paying attention, and finding a little more ease.
Whether you’re new to Pilates or returning after time away, there is space for you here—just as you are.
From there, the work unfolds through a simple rhythm.
The Rhythm of the Wave
Classes follow a simple, intentional rhythm:
Gather — arrive, breathe, and connect
Rise — build strength with steadiness and control
Expand — explore movement with energy and expression
Return — integrate, release, and restore
This structure offers different ways to meet your body, depending on what you need each day.
A Space for Every Body
Wave is located within the Washburn Meditation Center, a space that has long been home to creativity, reflection, and community.
There’s already a sense of care here—a steadiness that carries into the way movement is taught and experienced.
This is a place to move in a way that meets you where you are—and supports you over time.
Meet Molly
Wave Movement is founded and led by Molly, a Pilates instructor with over a decade of teaching experience.
Molly has been playing organized sports since she was young, including playing college basketball. That experience still shapes how she teaches, with a focus on strength, coordination, and movement that supports everyday life.
Over time, her approach has shifted from performance-driven to something more sustainable—focused on how movement can support the body through different seasons and cycles. She is comprehensively trained across all Pilates apparatus and has additional training in somatic practices, trauma-informed instruction, and pre- and postnatal care.
She also leads operations for Ritual Moves, with studios in Austin and Brooklyn, bringing a deep understanding of both teaching and studio experience into her work.
Molly teaches with a steady, attentive presence. Her classes are thoughtful and approachable, offering both structure and space—so each person can build strength, move with intention, and feel more at home in their body.
There’s a lightness in her teaching, too—because movement, even when it’s focused and intentional, should still feel human and fun.
She lives in Washburn with her family and created Wave as a space for connection, consistency, and care—both for herself and for the community around her.
